The split-focus sequence works in editing, reading, and planner views. In Vim Insert mode, Ctrl+W retains its word-deletion behavior.
A quick start with Vi mode
Enable it in Settings, then try:
- i to insert text; Esc to return to Normal mode.
- h j k l to move, w b to move by word.
- dd to delete a line, yy to copy it, p to paste.
- u to undo; Ctrl + R to redo.
- / to search; n for the next match.
- za to toggle a heading fold; zR / zM to open / close all.
On a folded heading, linewise operations can include the whole subtree. The full editing reference covers text objects, macros, counts, and more.
